Real Madrid dominated the list as Uefa announced its awards for the 2017/2018 Champions League competition.

The awards were handed to the players on Thursday in Rome at the draws for the group stages of the 2018/2019 campaign.

Real Madrid won the competition for the third time on a trot the last term.

Barcelona  goalkeeper  Marc-Andre ter Stegen  has urged fans not to forget about Leo Messi's teammates. Messi hit a hat-trick as Barca kicked off their Champions League campaign with a 4-0 win over  PSV  Eindhoven last night. Ter Stegen said, "Leo always appears, this is Leo, there is not a player like him, that is handled like that, always willing and attentive to find a solution. "Messi has always been key, he has played well, but on the field there are 10 more players. "We have done well."
