LATE BID: Real Madrid set for another Chelsea raid

Real Madrid is set for another raid on Chelsea as they make a late bid for the Blues’ star according to report in the Italian media Tuttosport.

The European Champions are prepared to launch a final attempt to sign Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso before the end of the transfer window in Europe.

Real Madrid want

a left-back to replace Marcelo, the Brazilian is pushing a move to Juventus to re-unite with Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

Los Merengues will allow Marcelo to leave if they secure the services of the former Real Madrid player.

The report further says that Real Madrid is set to push Chelsea to sell the player before the deadline day, according to Tuttosport.

Alonso would be delighted to don Real Madrid jersey as a return to his childhood club will be a dream come true, where both his father and grandfather served Real Madrid with great distinction.
