EPL: Why we beat Newcastle – Chelsea star, Hazard

Chelsea ace, Eden Hazard has explained why his side defeated Newcastle United 2-1 in Sunday’s Premier League fixture .ed at the St James’ Park Stadium.

Sarri’s side took the lead from the penalty spot through forward, Eden Hazard but Newcastle quickly equalized through Joselu.

And DeAndre Yedlin touched the ball into his own net late on to secure all three points for the Blues.

Hazard said the Blues won because they never gave up when they conceded the equalizing goal, adding that the Maurizio Sarri’s men also created a lot of chances.

“When they scored, I think everyone was thinking of a draw,” Hazard told Sky Sports.

“But we are Chelsea, we never give up. We created a lot of chances and did very well today.”

Chelsea are now occupying the second position of the EPL table just behind Liverpool after three wins from three games.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is ready for a busy summer transfer window. And according to the  Guardian , Lampard is eyeing another three signings as the Blues eye a Premier League title charge next season. Chelsea boss Lampard could sign Leicester left-back Ben Chilwell, West Ham's Declan Rice and Kai Havertz of Bayer Leverkusen Chilwell is Lampard's top target to slot in at left-back.
