German club SC Paderborn 07 have reacted to the invitation of their left-footed back Jamilu Collins to the Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles in September.

Former Bordeaux manager makes a sprung surprise in naming the unknown 24-year-old defender in his first post-World Cup Nigeria squad with and the future concerning Elderson Echiejile who was not included in the team having failed to an appearance for three-time African Champions in Russia.

Paderborn General Manager Sport Markus Krösche said on the club official website. "We are delighted with Jamilu's invitation, which is also an honor for our club, as he will continue to make important career advances on this international fixture journey,''

Super Eagles will face Seychelles on September 7, four days before a proposed friendly against Saudi Arabia.
