In England

Nigerian midfielder Alex Iwobi played just 45 minutes of Arsenal’s 3-1 win over West Ham on Saturday, August 25. Iwobi also assisted Arsenal’s first goal by Nacho Monreal in the first half.

Super Eagles tackler Wilfred Ndidi played 90 minutes in Leicester City’s impressive 2-1 win away at Southampton.

His compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho played in the game for just over an hour before he was substituted.

Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun was in action for Brighton in their 0-1 away loss at Liverpool. Unfortunately for Balogun, he had a hand in the goal they conceded at Anfield.

In the Championship

Nigerian midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo put in a strong performance for Stoke City in their 2-0 win over Hull City. Etebo was voted Man of the Match by Stoke City fans on Twitter.

Also in the Championship, Semi Ajayi who just received his first Super Eagles call-up played the whole 90 minutes for Rotherham United’s 1-0 win over Millwall.

In Turkey

Inform striker Henry Onyekuru got his name on the scoresheet in Galatasaray’s 6-0 win over Alanyaspor on Monday, August 27. That was the forward’s second goal of the season.

Super Eagles midfielder Onyeni Onazi was in action for 90 minutes in Trabzonspor's 2-2 draw away at Ankaragucu.

His compatriot Anthony Nwakaeme lasted 72 minutes in the Turkish Süper Lig tie.

In Italy

Nigerian midfielder Joel Obi played the second 45 minutes of Chievo’s 1-6 loss at Fiorentina.

Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong played the whole 90 minutes in Udinese’s 1-0 win over Sampdoria in their first victory of the season.

Right-back Ola Aina played 68 minutes of Torino’s 2-2 draw away at Inter Milan in the Serie A.

In Serie B

Super Eagles striker Simy Nwankwo played 56 minutes of Crotone’s 3-0 away loss to Cittadella.

In Germany

Mainz’s got all the three points with a 1-0 win over Stuttgart all thanks to a goal by Nigerian striker Anthony Ujah.

Ujah was introduced in the 67th minute and it only took him nine minutes before he scored the only goal of the game.

Unknown left-back Jamilu Collins, who is a surprise inclusion in the Super Eagles’ squad for their next game was in action for Paderborn in their 2-2 draw away at Greuther Furth in the 2. Bundesliga(German Division 1).

In Israel

Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu played the whole 90 minutes of Be’er Sheva’s 1-1 draw away at Ironi Kiryat.

In China

Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo netted his 16th goal of the Chinese Super League season in Changchun Yatai’s 2-2 draw at home against Hebei China Fortune.

In France

Nigerian forward Samuel Kalu played the whole 90 minutes of Bordeaux's 2-1 win over Monaco. Kalu missed a penalty during the game.

In Sweden

Nigerian forward Chisom Egbuchulamcontinued his impressive form in Sweden with a hattrick in Falkenberg FF’s  4-1 over Degerfors in the Swedish Superettan.

Nigerian striker Okechukwu Gabriel scored an had an assist in his first game for Wydad Casablanca who beat Widad Temara in a friendly game. The game ended 3-3.
