Ronaldo scores for Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first two goals for Juventus as the Italian champions maintained their perfect start to the season.

Ronaldo, goalless in his first three games since his move from Real Madrid, tapped in shortly after half-time.

The 33-year-old then finished off a rapid counter-attack by shooting into the bottom corner after 65 minutes.

Sassuolo pulled one back in added time via Khouma Babacar and Douglas Costa was sent off but the hosts held on.

Juve’s Brazilian winger was dismissed after a video assistant referee intervention for spitting at Federico di Francesco, having aimed a headbutt at the same player and appeared to try to elbow him.

Ronaldo could have completed a hat-trick late on but missed two easy chances from inside the penalty area.

The win is Juventus’ fourth from four games this season, BBC reports.

Chelsea manager has said Hazard didn’t follow his instructions in the first half of Chelsea draw against West Ham on Sunday. The blues 100% record ended on Sunday at the Olympic stadium with the blues manager claiming it is their worst match of the season. The blues manager speaking after the match said winger Hazard didn’t do what is expected of him in the first half but said he improved after the break particularly in the last 25 minutes of the match. When asked if Hazard followed his instructions the former Napoli manager replied saying “Not in the first half. Better in the second half. But today it was very difficult to play inside. Chelsea  boss  Maurizio Sarri  admits he's made a decision over the club captaincy. For the moment,  Cesar Azpilicueta  holds the armband, but the manager says that could soon change. Sarri said on Friday: "I have my idea, I have decided. "But before telling you my decision I would like to speak to the players and the club. In this moment it's not possible so for the moment the captain is Azpilicueta. "I will tell you the final decision after I will be able to talk with the players and the club."
