Pogba made the explosive comments following United's sub-par 1-1 draw at home to Wolves.

Now he and Mourinho are set to go eye-to-eye at training today in what could prove to be an interesting Monday morning catch-up.

After the Wolves stalemate, Pogba said: “At home we should attack, attack, attack. That’s Old Trafford. We are here to attack.

“Teams are scared when they see Man United attacking and attacking. That was our mistake.”

Asked what is stopping the Old Trafford giants being more aggressive, Pogba replied: “I can’t tell you because I’m a player. It’s not me.”

And United's stars looked in sombre mood as they trudged to training today - with Alexis Sanchez looking particularly glum.

The Chilean has failed to score this year with fans quick to turn on him and his £500,000-a-week pay packet.

Weekend goalscorer Fred and Romelu Lukaku were two others looking gloomy as they drove to Carrington earlier today ahead of the midweek Carabao Cup clash with Derby.
