The UCL 2018/19 season will not be just about the action but also about style.

On Tuesday, September 18, the group stage of the Champions League starts and many fans are waiting for this not just because of the games but also for the fact that the best clubs in Europe will showcase their new kits.

NAIJ.com have compiled a list of the most unusual of them. Here are the top 7 best football kits among the participants this season.

1. Manchester United, Adidas

Red Devil’s new Adidas shirt pays tribute to local newspaper The Football Pink. It was created by the Manchester Evening News and went out on Saturday afternoons until its closure in 2007.

"Its legacy endures and this season The Pink rides again," said the front page of United Review. "Not just in the hearts and minds of the fans, but on the backs of their heroes too."

2. PSG, Air Jordan

The French giants are the first football team to be sponsored by Jordan. This kit will be used only in UEFA Champions League and has to be the jersey that will differentiate the club among the rest.

“Jordan Brand and Paris Saint-Germain share a distinct position in sport and style, so to partner with the club is a natural fit,” says Michael Jordan. The club will debut its Jordan Brand kit on the first round of Champions League group stage during the game with Liverpool.

3. Liverpool, New Balance

Speaking of Liverpool, the Reds have opted for a grey strip modelled on the club's away colours from the Championship-winning 1989/90 campaign.

The jersey has racing red detail on the shoulder panels, a red crest and NB logo, as well as a crew neck collar with insert.

4. Juventus, Adidas

Juventus 2018/19 third jersey combines a dark base with fluo yellow trim. It's made from recycled ocean waste.

5. Monaco, Nike

The Monaco 2018/19 away jersey uses the Nike Vapor design featuring a modern v-neck with a single buttoned placket. The shirt is dark green with a vertical flash of the red from ASM’s crest on its outside rear neck area.

6. Napoli, Kappa

Interesting experiment announced by Napoli. They surprised its fans with this new home jersey.

7. Real Madrid, Adidas

One of the best kits among all showed the Galacticos. The pink strip will be used as the Real Madrid's third kit and as it becomes a trend - is made from recycled plastics found in the oceans.
