Alves reveals why Real Madrid are dangerous without Ronaldo
Paris Saint-Germain defender Dani Alves has revealed why Real Madrid is dangerous without Cristiano Ronaldo in this season Champions League.
Portugal skipper notched 15 goals to help Los Blancos claimed their third straight Europen cup in a row.
Ronaldo scored 450 goals in all 438 appearances in all competitions for Real Madrid before ending his nine association with the Spanish club and move to Juventus this summer, but former Barcelona defender Alves has insisted that La Liga outfit are still a serious threat in Europe.
"I think that, contrary to what everybody thinks, Madrid is more of a team without Cristiano.
"Now it's a bit more difficult than it was before, before it was complicated for the opposition but focused a lot on Cristiano, and now it's a bit more dangerous, at least because of how I see football and my concept of the game.
"Madrid are more of a team now, it is obvious that Cristiano is a brutal loss for Madrid, but Madrid are
Madrid." Marca quotes Alves as saying.
Real Madrid dropped their first point of this campaign in a 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao at San Mamés Stadium hoping to bounce back against Roma in Champions League opener to Roma at Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night.
