Manuel Pellegrini offers advice to Liverpool and Klopp on how to stop Eden Hazard and Chelsea

For the first time this season Chelsea failed to score as they were held 0-0 at West Ham and Manuel Pellegrini appears to have the perfect blueprint for Liverpool to follow next week.

The Reds have won six matches out of six to start their Premier League campaign, while the Blues are now two points behind them after the stalemate at the London Stadium.

But next weekend the two teams go head-to-head at Stamford Bridge in what is sure to be a firecracker of a game, while they also meet each other in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night at Anfield.

But while goals are expected, West Ham boss Pellegrini has stated how he stopped Chelsea from scoring and it might just be a way for Jurgen Klopp to do the same.

"They had a lot of possession because we allowed them to have the ball," Pellegrini explained. "We forced them to play most of the game from the right side, not the left side where Marcos Alonso and Hazard are so dangerous.

"The first half was very clear, the way I wanted to play. The second we maybe lost too many balls. But against these teams, a draw is not a bad point."
