Liverpool Ace Mohamed Salah Throws Water Bottle After Firmino's Late Goal Vs PSG (Photos) »
Mohamed Salah surprised fans with his reaction after Roberto Firmino’s Late winner Vs Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.
Salah was subbed off against PSG, after his mistake led to PSG’s equaliser.
It was until the 90th minute, Liverpool found a winner, with Firmino blasting an effort into the bottom corner.
However, Salah reacted on the bench and he appeared to throw his water bottle on the ground.
The Egyptian was taken off in the 85th minute, just moments after his poor pass gave the opportunity for Kylian Mbappe to equalise.
He had endured a difficult match after his goal was disallowed after it was deemed that Daniel Sturridge had fouled Alphonso Areola.
And his actions on the bench made further headlines with a bizarre reaction.
As Firmino celebrated with his team-mates, Klopp was wildly celebrating on the touchline.
Salah was also captured celebrating in seperate footage, throwing his arms in the air, before the former Chelsea man was seen throwing his bottle on the floor- although it’s unclear if it was in frustration.
Fans of Twitter were quick to react and some said:
@rish_rathi posted: “Did Salah just throw a water bottle and his image of being the team player when Bobby scored?
”@zefutbolwriter posted: “Liverpool’s three forwards are absolutely in it for themselves. Another reason they won’t be winning anything this season.
“This reaction from Salah is ridiculous.
”@kizYNWA wrote: “What’s Salah’s problem? Either celebrate your teammates injury time goal against PSG or just **** off, class player but don’t need that kind of negativity around Anfield.”
But plenty backed Salah with @TaintlessRed posting: “Lay off Salah. He was celebrating first and then throwing the bottle is obviously just sheer relief after his error cost the equaliser for 2-2, he was gutted & Bobby saved the result. Can’t believe some ppl think he’s not happy we won.”
