Mario Balotelli mocks Manchester United after late Chelsea goal

Man Utd were denied a win at Chelsea by an injury-time Ross Barkley strike and Mario Balotelli loved it.

Mario Balotelli enjoyed Chelsea's late equaliser against United

Mario Balotelli's finest Manchester City moment came in the 6-1 derby win over United seven years ago and he was more than happy to revel in the Reds' disappointment after they were denied a win at Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.

It appeared as though United were about to end their six-year wait for a win at Stamford Bridge when Anthony Martial scored twice to put them 2-1 ahead - but they were denied by an injury-time Ross Barkley equaliser.

The disappointing result for Jose Mourinho'smen gave City the chance to open up a nine-point gap between themselves and United in the Premier League and they duly took that chance with a 5-0 thumping of Burnley at the Etihad.

Balotelli took to Instagram to post a supportive message to City prior to kick-off in that game but it is his jibe at United that will have had Blues fans chuckling.

He uploaded a picture of himself watching the Chelsea-United game, which was in its 99th minute at the time, alongside the caption: "Manchester utd fans.. LOL".

Balotelli scored 30 goals in 80 appearances for City between 2010 and 2013 before leaving for AC Milan.

He's currently at Nice but is yet to score a goal for the French club this season.
