Juventus 1-1 Genoa: Cristiano Ronaldo becomes first player to hit 400 goals in Europe's top five leagues before Daniel Bassa rescues point for visitors

Cristiano Ronaldo sent an ominous reminder to former club Manchester United ahead of facing them on Tuesday in the Champions League but his goal proved in vain on Saturday evening as Juventus were held by Genoa.

Daniel Bassa rose highest midway through the second half to head past home goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny for the visitors and that cancelled out a close range opener from Ronaldo.

The £105million summer signing from Real Madrid escaped his marker inside the six-yard box to hit home after 19 minutes, becoming the first player to score 400 goals in Europe's top five leagues in the process.
